He says the fuel tankers are meant to create employment for the young people and uplift their living standards.
Mr. NKANDU also says the government is in the process of buying trucks and buses that will be given out to youth cooperatives.
He says the government wants to attain its campaign promises of providing meaningful empowerment to young people through employment creation.
Mr. NKANDU has however called for patience among young people as the government works out modalities on disbursing youth empowerment programmes.
He was speaking when he paid a courtesy call on North Western Province Minister ROBERT LEHEFU in Solwezi today.
And Mr. LIHEFU said young people in the Province were starved of Youth empowerment programmes by the previous regime.
Mr. LIHEFU said the Patriotic Front government side-lined young people from the Province as they were tagged as supporters of the opposition Political Party.
He said youths are expecting to benefit from various youth empowerment programs under the new dawn government as their counterparts in other provinces.
