Govt to Restock Lusenga Park
By Masauso Mukwayaya- The Ministry of Tourism says it will in the next two months restock the Lusenga National Park in Luapula Province with different species of wildlife.
Tourism Minister Ronald Chitotela says the restocking of the Park will kickstart a programme to market the Northern tourism circuit.
The Minister said this in Kawambwa District when he toured Lumangwe Falls which is in the 800-square kilometre National Park.
Speaking earlier when Mr. Chitotela paid a courtesy call on him, Chief Chisunka of the Chishinga people in Kawambwa said he will rally behind Government in promoting tourism.
The traditional leader said he is hopeful that once stakeholders in the province work together, the area will reap benefits from the rich natural resources in the region.
