GOVT. TO TAKE CARE OF CHIEFS -LUNGU
By Hector Simfukwe- President Edgar Lungu says government is organising resources to buy vehicles for traditional leaders who are yet to receive the automobiles.
President Lungu says government is working hard to improve the welfare of chiefs across the country.
He says government also wants chiefs to have decent palaces.
The President said this when he met chiefs in Lundazi District of Eastern Province.
And Senior Chief Mwase urged government to quickly open the District Hospital and the Trades school which are under construction.
He said works on the hospital are above 90 percent and that people are looking forward to its opening.
The traditional leader said people in the remote part of the District are also in need of additional boreholes.
