HH ENGAGING MINING PLAYERS
President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA says he has continued to engage key players in the mining sector and other business houses with a view to attracting more investments in the country.
This is on the sidelines of the ongoing African Mining Indaba in Cape Town, South Africa.
President HICHILEMA says while government is working hard to create jobs, his team knows that the private sector is the best engine for job creation.
He says government is assessing every potential investment in terms of the opportunities it will open up for citizens, particularly youth and women, as well as its broader contribution to a better future for all Zambians.
President HICHILEMA says Zambia is once again open for business, and government is promoting opportunities that involve joint ventures with citizens.
He says given the country’s rich natural resource endowment, government has a duty to remove the bottlenecks to increased investment in the country.
This is according to the message posted on the President’s Facebook page.
