LABOUR UNION ASKED TO FIGHT CORRUPTION
Government has challenged labour unions to be actively involved in the fight against corruption.
Labour Minister BRENDA TAMBATAMBA says the fight against corruption can record a huge improvement if labour unions are proactive.
Mrs. TAMBATAMBA was speaking during the official launch of a campaign for a corruption free service in Lusaka.
She said the fight must not be left to government but all key stakeholders must be involved.
Mrs. TAMBATAMBA however explained that accountability and transparency are key in the fight against corruption.
Meanwhile, Zambia Union of Government and Allied Workers President MUYAYWA KABISA disclosed that the union is committed to working with the new dawn administration to fight corruption.
Mr. KABISA said the campaign for a corruption free service focuses on sensitizing workers on corruption.
