LIONS TOLD TO BE KIND
(ZANIS) Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, GARRY NKOMBO has urged the newly inducted members of Chudleigh Lions club to extend kindness to the marginalized vulnerable persons in society.
Mr NKOMBO stated that a person, who wishes to join the service club must have attributes of love and kindness towards mankind.
He explained that without love it is impossible to be of service to humanity.
The Minister said this last night during the induction of 27 Chudleigh lions members, where he was the chief guest.
Mr NKOMBO implored Chudleigh Lions club to work closely with his ministry in improving the plight of the less privileged.
ZANIS reports that Mr NKOMBO was at the same event inducted into the Lions club together with Local Government and Rural Development Permanent Secretary for administration MAAMBO HAMAUNDU.
And speaking earlier, Governor for District 413 Lion Emmanuel KANGWA commended Chudleigh Lions club for embarking on various humanitarian projects even before the induction of the chatter.
