Luangwa bridge set to start this year
Japanese Ambassador to Zambia MIZUUCHI RYUTA has expressed hope that the reconstruction of the Luangwa Bridge on the Great East Road will commence within the course of this year.
Ambassador RYUTA says his government is committed to ensuring that the project is done.
He was speaking when he paid a courtesy call on Paramount Chief MPEZENI in Chipata today.
And Chief MPEZENI expressed gratitude for the support rendered by the Japanese government.
He appealed to the Japanese government to continue supporting various projects in Zambia.
