Lusaka Museum To Hold Exhibition In Honor Of KK
Lucky Phiri-The Lusaka National Museum will from Sunday, June 27, 2021 hold an exhibition on former President, KENNETH KAUNDA’s legacy.
The exhibition will last up to next month.
A check by ZNBC news at the Museum found various pictures of the late Republican President, depicting his social and political life, being displayed.
And Museum Keeper of Ethnography, PRECIOUS CHISANGA said the museum has decided to display President KAUNDA’s legacy, as a way of mourning the late founding father.
Ms CHISANGA has encouraged members of the public to pass through the museum and appreciate the role Dr KAUNDA played for the nation and the African continent at large.
Meanwhile, the National Heritage and Conservation Commission has also displayed pictures of Dr KAUNDA depicting his various works.
And some Lusaka residents have applauded the initiative stating that it will the public an insight of Dr KAUNDA ‘s social and political life .
