Mabika cleared to play for Chipolopolo
Chansa Kunda-Sports Minister ELVIS NKANDU says Defender AIME MABIKA has been cleared to play for the Zambia Men’s National Football team.
NKANDU says the Naturalization process for MABIKA has been finalized and that he is free to join the team for the upcoming AFCON engagements.
He says the player will be issued with documentation by the relevant Government wings as his case has been concluded.
NKANDU told ZNBC Sport News that Government will endeavour to provide support to the Chipolopolo at all cost to ensure they fulfill their Afcon fixtures.
The Sports Minister said he expects a positive result from the Chipolopolo as they face Ivory Coast in their opening Group H Encounter tomorrow.
NKANDU said the team should avoid defeat at all cost adding that the target should be to either get a win or draw.
He has since implored Zambian to ensure they turn up in numbers to support the Chipolopolo in Tuesday’s game against Comoros Islands.
