MARSHAL’S ELECTRONICS SUSPENDED FROM PUBLIC PROCUREMENT
By Patricia Banda –
The Zambia Public Procurement Authority- ZPPA- has with immediate effect suspended Marshal’s Electronic System of shop number W14, Simonson Building in Lusaka for a period of one year.
ZPPA Public Relations Officer NCHIMUNYA MUGANYA says all procurement entities are expected to enforce the suspension by ensuring that they do not award contracts to Marshal’s Electronic Systems.
She further explained that all procurement entities must not enter into any other dealings or communications to the company except in respect of existing contracts signed prior to this suspension.
Ms MUGANYA however said, the suspension does not in any way limit Marshal’s Electronic System from performing outstanding contracts that were entered into before the date of suspension on April 4th, 2022.
This is contained in a statement made available to ZNBC news in Lusaka today.
The suspension has been done under section 96 of the Public procurement Act number 8 of 2020 and regulation 167 cap 3 of the public procurement regulations 2011.
