“MDC DOES NOT NEED HELP TO LOBBY FOR GOVT JOBS”
By Lazarous Sichula
The Movement for Democratic Congress says it does NOT need anyone to lobby for the appointment of its members in the government.
MDC media director THABO KAWANA says his party is actually NOT using anyone to lobby for government positions.
Mr. KAWANA has told a media briefing in Lusaka that the MDC wants President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA to freely select his own team.
He says the MDC does NOT, in this case, appreciate any kind of lobbying that will force President HICHILEMA to make appointments under undue pressure.
Mr. KAWANA there is an online media which has written a story suggesting that him and other MDC members want to be appointed in government.
And Mr. KAWANA, who is also UPND alliance media director, has urged the media in the Country to quote the right sources if they are to communicate to the public truthfully.
Mr. KAWANA is concerned that, due to wrong sources being quoted for issues that they have no authority to discuss, the members of the public are being given wrong information.
