Katombora Member of Parliament, Clement Andeleki has assured civil servants in rural parts of his constituency that their living conditions will improve under the new government.
Mr. Andeleki says it is disheartening to see how civil servants in rural areas are struggling to make use of very little resources to help the communities they work in.
He says it is unfortunate that though Zambia has enough resources to change the living conditions of the people, most rural communities are still poverty- stricken.
Mr. Andeleki was speaking at Simango Village during a meeting with teachers.
And speaking at the same event, a teacher, Xaviour Mwiinga asked the government to work on the poor road network in the area.
Mr. Mwiinga complained that residents are struggling during emergencies to transport their relatives to health facilities due to the bad road network.
