A clergyman in Mungwi District of Northern Province has commended President Edgar Lungu for remaining steadfast amidst political opposition.
United Church of Zambia Saint Peter’s Congregation Minister in-charge John Siame says the Head of State has continued to exercise calmness regardless of the opposing views from different sections of society.
Reverend Siame said this during a Girls Brigade enrollment and re-dedication service.
He noted that leadership calls for one to remain peaceful and calm despite persecution while at the helm of authority.
Rev. Siame also urged Politicians and the Zambian citizenry to be peaceful and calm during the campaigns set to begin this month.
