Oil, Gas Can Change Zambia’s Fortunes
Mines Permanent Secretary Paul Chanda says the discovery of oil and gas in Zambia can change the country’s economic fortunes.
Mr. Chanda says so far fourteen companies have been given licenses to carry out Oil and Gas exploration in selected parts of the country.
He says of the 14, only seven companies are currently exploring for the resources.
Mr. Chanda says his ministry has so far received favourable response from some of the companies carrying out the exploration works.
He said this in an interview with ZNBC News in Lusaka today.
