PATSON NAMED GOODWILL AMBASSADOR FOR CATHOLICS MEN’S ORGANISATION

Archbishop of Lusaka ALICK BANDA has installed 10 men from the Catholic Men’s organization as Goodwill Ambassadors among them footballer PATSON DAKA and Acting Secretary to Cabinet PATRICK KANGWA.
Archbishop BANDA says the 10 were picked owing to their influence in society.
Others presented with Goodwill Ambassador medals are Lusaka Apex University Chairperson Professor TUCKSON LAMBERT, renowned lawyer Professor PATRICK MVUNGA, Dr. FRANCIS MANGENI and Fr. FIDELIS WASHENI among others.
And Arch-diocese of Lusaka Catholic Men’s Organization Chairperson CHILESHE KANDETA said the men who have been installed as Goodwill Ambassadors are those who have excelled in their professional careers and are a good example in society.
Mr. KANDETA said the installment is meant to give an example to the Catholic men and the Zambian community.
He also explained that striker PATSON DAKA was identified among the recipients as a good example of stewardship among youths who are disciplined and excelling.
And giving a vote of thanks on behalf of the recipients Professor LAMBERT called on men in the country to invest in prayer and hard work so that they can build reputable images.
Professor LAMBERT said the country should draw critical lessons from the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic and become self sustainable without depending on donors for financial and material support.
And Acting Secretary to Cabinet PATRICK KANGWA called for mindset change among men in the country if development is to be fully attained.
Mr. KANGWA said Zambians need to take a proactive role in developmental issues which have the potential to boost the country’s economy in line with the new Dawn Government’s agenda.
And Former Chipolopolo Team Manager DESMOND M’NGAWA who represented PATSON DAKA said the recognition is a huge milestone for the England based Chipolopolo striker as he has been recognized together with influential people in society.
M’NGAWA further implored young people to learn from DAKA’s hard work.
