PUPILS START TO RETURN TO SCHOOL

Most Pupils in Examination classes have started returning to boarding schools in various parts of the country.
This is ahead of tomorrow’s reopening of schools for the second term following their closure in March which was aimed at preventing the spread of covid-19.
A Check by a ZNBC News crew in Lusaka today found pupils boarding buses to return to their school.
And Pupils talked to have expressed happiness at reopening schools saying this will enable them to advance to other levels.
Rachael Kunda a Grade 12 at Rufunsa Girls Technical School said she will adhere to all the health measures to avoid contracting the virus.
Ms Kunda said despite the many fora used to share academic lessons, it was NOT easy to understand.
And one of the parents Humphrey Ndulo who escorted his daughter to board a bus said Government’s decision to open schools is good because the pupils will advance academically.
