RECAPITALISE MAZABUKA RESEARCH STATION

Southern Province Minister Edify Hamukale has called for the recapitalisation of Mazabuka Research Station, under the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock.
Dr. Hamukale says this is because of the crucial role the government institution is playing in enhancing livestock farming in the province.
He has noted the need for urgent support, because of the institution’s unique function in providing artificial insemination services.
Dr. Hamukale was speaking in Mazabuka, Southern province, when he toured the Mazabuka Research Station for Animal Health.
He has however assured management that government will do everything possible to capacitate the institution.
And Acting Principal Livestock Research Officer, Sendu Kaonga informed the Minister that the facility has the potential to significantly contribute to livestock development.
