RECOVER ALL STOLEN ASSESTS-CHIEF MUKUTUMA
By Tamara Muswala:
Chief Mukutuma of the Lamba people in Lufwanyama on the Copperbelt has appealed to the UPND administration to recover all suspected stolen public resources from some former PF government leaders.
Chief Mukutuma says public resources allegedly stolen by some former leaders in the PF government must be recovered so that they can be directed to other needy areas.
The chief has urged the UPND administration not to take revenge on persons that allegedly stole Public resources from the previous government but ensure what they illegally obtained is given back to the Zambian people.
The traditional leader said this when Lufwanyama Member of Parliament Kenny Siachisumo visited his palace.
Meanwhile traditional leaders in Lufwanyama District have pledged to support and work with the new dawn government.
Chieftainess Shimukunami says her chiefdom will work with the government of the day to ensure development trickles down to the people of Lufwanyama.
And Mr. Siachisumo said President Hakainde Hichilema wants to work with the traditional leaders to develop rural areas.
Mr. Siachisumo said it is unacceptable that to date many children in rural areas are covering long distances to get to school.
Others chiefs the Lufwanyama law maker visited include NKANA and Lumpuma.
