RESUMPTION OF INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS TO POSITIVELY IMPACT TOURISM
By Ruth Chayinda
Zambia’s High Commissioner to India Judith Kapijimpanga says the Mission is looking forward to the resumption of regular international flights into and out of India to revamp tourism.
Mrs. Kapijimpanga says the first quarter of 2021 continued to record no tourists from India to Zambia because India has not yet opened airways for international flights apart from country to country air bubbles operating in form of evacuation flights.
She was speaking in New Delhi, India, during a Tourism Diplomatic Conclave organized by Travel Jingles media house specialized in tourism.
And Mrs. Kapijimpanga invited tourists to visit Zambia as it had friendly people, conducive climate, big five animals in 20 national parks and the Victoria Falls, one of the 7 natural wonders of the world.
This is contained in a statement made available by First Secretary Press at Zambia High Commission in India Bangwe Naviley.
