STATE HOUSE COUNSELS ZAMBIANS
By Mark Ziligone:
State House has advised Zambians to allow the due process of diplomacy to take its course without speculations on allegations purported to have been submitted to a Rwandan court.
The allegations suggested that President Edgar Lungu sponsored a named organisation to launch attacks in Rwanda.
State House Special Assistant for Press and Public Relations Isaac Chipampe says the Zambian Government is dealing with the matter through diplomatic channels with Rwanda.
Mr. Chipampe says State House is concerned that despite stating its position on the on allegations purported to have come out of a court trial in Rwanda, some citizens have continued to issue wild speculations and accusations on the matter.
He says State House has maintained that the allegations are false and that citizens should let diplomacy deal with the issue.
This is contained in a statement issued to ZNBC News in Lusaka today, by Mr. Chipampe.
