TEACHERS’ CHALLENGES BEING ADDRESSED -DR KALUMBA
The Ministry of General Education says it is working to address some of the challenges affecting teachers among them the shortage of staff accommodation.
General Education Permanent Secretary, Jobbicks Kalumba however says teachers need to work with passion, because their profession is a calling, and that they must impact the life of every pupil they teach.
Dr. Kalumba says it is through commitment and hard work shown by teachers that learners get equipped.
He was speaking when he visited some schools in Namwala district, Southern province, during which he also urged the District Education Board Secretary -DEBS- office to ensure adherence to COVID-19 guidelines.
