Reuben Chomba-Tourism Council of Zambia -TCZ- Chairperson VINCENT MUPWAYA has called on stakeholders in the sector to take advantage of incentives that government has introduced in the 2022 national budget.
Mr. MUPWAYA says the aim of the incentives is to help grow the sector by enhancing local and international travels.
He says with good incentives in the sector, the industry has the potential to generate foreign exchange and increase investments for the country.
Speaking during a breakfast meeting for Corporate and professional associations, Mr. MUPWAYA said the council is happy that government has continued to invest in the tourism sector through Infrastructure development.
Meanwhile, Zambia Tourism Agency Acting Chief Executive Officer CHAVUNGA LUNGU said the agency will focus on promoting local tourism and attracting foreign tourists.
