UNDER 17, CITY OF LUSAKA DRAW 2 ALL

The Zambia Under-17 Football team has been held to a two all draw in their first AFCON preparatory friendly game against City of Lusaka football club.
The Junior Chipolopolo took on the FAZ Eden University National Division side one at the woodland’s stadium as part of their preparations of this year’s U-17 AFCON tournament.
The Junior Chipolopolo found the back of the net through Richard Ngoma and a penalty by Joseph Sabobo Banda while Russel Mukuma scored a brace for City of Lusaka.
And, U-17 Assistant Coach Chisi Mbewe said the game has exposed areas that the team needs to work on.
Mbewe said city were good opponents and gave his side feel of the kind of football to expect at the AFCON.
He said a number of friendly games have been lined up to help improve the match fitness and coordination of the team.
