WEAR PROTECTIVE FACE MASKS -ZNBC
By Mwila Nsofu:
The Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation has advised the public, clients and guests visiting ZNBC offices across the country that they will be required to wear protective face masks.
This follows the Presidential directive and guidelines provided by the Ministry of Health, making it mandatory for people to wear face masks in public places, as way to curb the spread of COVID 19.
ZNBC Corporate Affairs Manager, Yvette Chanda has advised that those that will not comply with the directive and guidelines will NOT be allowed access into the ZNBC offices and facilities.
Mrs. Chanda says the move is aimed at not only protecting the lives of ZNBC staff, but also the lives of all visitors to the Mass Media Complex in Lusaka, the regional office in Kitwe, Livingstone office and all ZNBC offices and facilities across the country.
She told ZNBC News that visitors are advised to comply with this directive, to avoid being turned away.
Mrs. Chanda further advised the public that in-line with Ministry of Health guidelines, the Corporation has put in place measures to curb COVID 19 by placing hand sanitisers and handwashing facilities at its premises.
She said all visitors to the Mass Media Complex will also have their temperature taken as another way of curbing the spread of Covid 19.
