WOMEN ADVISED TO STAND TOGETHER

The Katuba Isumpuke Foundation has advised women in Katuba Constituency to stand and work together to foster development and better their lives.
Foundation Matron Paxina Kalulu-Parirenyatwa says women in Katuba have the potential to grow strong businesses that can drive the country forward.
Mrs. Kalulu-Parirenyatwa was speaking when she delivered sewing and peanut butter making machines to women cooperatives in Katuba Constituency.
She called on other well-wishers to come forward and assist the Foundation in reaching out to more women in different communities.
Meanwhile, Foundation Chairman Isaac Nsoneka said the Foundation has so far assisted 15 cooperatives in Katuba Constituency.
Mr. Nsoneka said the Foundation aims to supplement government’s effort in leaving no one behind.
And, Foundation Coordinator Robby Nkhoswe said the initiative is meant to enhance the living standards of women in rural areas.
Meanwhile, Katete Head woman Matildah Shatu expressed happiness that women in the community have been empowered with machines that will better their lives and that of the community.
