Yaluma Applauds Malole District civil servants
By Patrick Mulenga
Malole Member of Parliament Christopher Yaluma says government values the contribution the civil service has continued to make towards the growth of the economy.
Speaking during the end of year party with civil servants in Malole district, Mr. Yaluma said despite the numerous challenges the civil servants are going through, they have continued to deliver quality services.
And the Malole Law maker called on civil servants to desist from participating in partisan politics.
Mr. Yaluma said participating in partisan politics will only delay development and that government will not take kind on those who will be found wanting.
Mr. Yaluma who is also Commerce, Trade and Industry Minister said 2019 was full of challenges and that government has tried in many ways to overcome these challenges.
He said the adverse effects of Climate Change that resulted in crop failure in most parts of the country, was a major contributor to the challenges presented in 2019.
Mr. Yaluma said it is important for people to take serious issues of climate change and help government find lasting solutions.
Meanwhile, Mungwi Central Councilor Charles Makando thanked government for the development it has continued to take to Malole.
Mr. Makando said Mungwi has received a number of infrastructure developments ranging from Hospitals, Clinics, office blocks to the road network.
He said Mungwi has also received a fair share of school upgrades.
