Zambia Storms Copa Coca-Cola Quarter Finals
By Joy Siatubi-ZAMBIA has stormed the quarter finals of the 2019 Copa Coca-Cola Africa cup tournament, after winning both their games played today.
The young Chipolopolo beat both Tanzania and South Africa by two goals to nil, to win group B and set up a last eight tie with Angola.
Angola were runners up in Group D, behind Botswana.
The First game against Tanzania was a tough affair, with Zambia only managing to settle in the second half.
Zambia was the better of the two sides, scoring two goals within 15 minutes.
Innocent Nkhoma put the Zambian team ahead, with super sub Joe Tembo burying the game in the dying minutes to end the scores 2-nil.
In the second game, Zambia was too strong for South Africa, scoring two unanswered goals.
Kusa Sifuwe and Yoram Sakala were the scorers.
