ZESCO BACK ON TOP

FAZ /MTN Transitional Super league Defending Champions Zesco United Football Club has gone back to the summit of stream (A) table.
This is after they beat Red Arrows by three goals to two in a week sixteen fixture played at the levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola on Saturday.
Zesco United had dropped to Second Position before the Red Arrows game following the FAZ disciplinary committees’ decision to award Kabwe Warriors three points.
This was after their week 13 game with Nakambala Leopards was abandoned.
Zesco United are top on 30 points while Red Arrows are fourth on 27 points, two points behind Kabwe warriors who play Mufulira wanderers tomorrow.
Other games played in Stream A have seen Zanaco football Club go second on the table with 29 points after beating Green Buffaloes 2-1 in a Lusaka derby played at the Sunset Stadium.
Nakambala Leopards and Prison Leopards settled for a one all draw while Home Side Kitwe United have been held to a one all stalemate by Lusaka Dynamos.
Meanwhile, in Stream (B), Green Eagles have continued to reign Supreme of the stream after they beat relegation threatened Side Circuit City one nil.
Eagles are table toppers on 32 points followed by Buildcon football Club who beat Forest Rangers by a goal to nil in an Early kickoff of the Ndola Derby played at the levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
And Nkwazi football Club are still third on the table with 27 points after picking up a vital point in their one all draw to Nkana in Kitwe while Napsa Stars held Power dynamos to one all draw at the woodland’s stadium.
In other Stream B results Lumwana Radiants failed to use their home ground advantage as relegation threatened Maestro United Zambia FC held them to a one all draw in Lumwana.
Meanwhile Kabwe Warriors have a chance to go top of Stream (A) as they face Mufulira Wanderers in a fixture to be played at the Godfrey Chitalu stadium in Kabwe on Sunday.
