President Edgar Lungu has sent messages of condolence to Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali and Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta on the tragic plane crash which claimed 157 lives on Sunday.
President Lungu in his message to the Ethiopian Prime Minister described the accident as a tragedy.
The head of State noted that the Ethiopian Airlines is the pride of Africa and the plane crash is unfortunate.
And in his message to his Kenyan counterpart, President Lungu said the Zambian Government stands with families affected by the tragic and shocking loss of 32 Kenyan nationals who died in the plane crash.
This in a statement issued to ZNBC News in Lusaka through Special Assistant to the President for Press and Public Relations Amos Chanda.
