Power reacts to violence

Power Dynamos Football Club Executive has condemned the violence that occurred at Arthur Davis stadium on Saturday during week 35 fixture in which Power lost three nil to Green Buffaloes football Club.

Power Dynamos Football Club Secretary Ricky Manfunda says the executive understands the concerns of the fans but expects them to use correct channels to channel their grievance.

Manfunda said management is equally concerned with the recent poor results but insisted that violence is not the way to go.

The Power Dynamos Secretary told ZNBC sports news in an interview that Arthur Davis Stadium will soon be one of the hosts of the Under 20 COSAFA Championship and violence will paint a bad picture about the country.

He further said Power Dynamos football club’s expectation is for the technical bench to go back to the drawing board and look at their current strategy which seems not to be working.

Manfunda however said the technical bench is aware that their contracts are performance based and know what is at stake.

On Saturday Power Dynamos fans protected outside Arthur Davis stadium calling for the sacking of Coach Danny Kabwe after a run of poor results in the league.
