Zambia Red Cross Society says it is fully prepared to contain Cholera across the country this rainy season.
Zambia Red Cross society health care manager Cosmas Sakala says his organisation is working in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, to contain the disease and has since donated 10 thousand bottles of liquid chlorine to the ministry.
Mr Sakala also disclosed that Zambia Red Cross society has bought 10 oral rehydration equipment kits to help would be affected people with Rehydration.
He also revealed that about 8,750 tablets of hand washing soap has been purchased to help encourage hand washing in cholera hot-spot areas.
Mr Sakala said this in an exclusive interview with ZNBC news in Lusaka today.
