General Education Permanent Secretary Henry Tukombe has flagged off the distribution of school chemicals and reagents to the newly upgraded secondary schools.
The chemicals and reagents are for all the ten provinces in the country ahead of the 2018 Grade 9 and Grade 12 examinations.
Mr. Tukombe says the chemicals and reagents distributed to the mobile school laboratories in the upgraded secondary schools will enhance the learning of science practicals.
The Permanent Secretary has since thanked the government of Japan through JICA for spending 4 point 6 million Kwacha on the reagents and chemicals.
Mr. Tukombe has since challenged the head Teachers from the various upgraded secondary schools not to misuse the reagents as they can last for over seven years if properly used.
