The World Boxing Council -WBC- has appointed Sylvia Mokailna of South Africa to officiate the WBC women’s world Super bantamweight championship between Fatima Zarika of Kenya and Zambia’s Catherine Phiri.
The bout is scheduled to take place on December 2, 2017 in Nairobi.
Oriental Quarries Boxing Promotions Operations Manager Chris Malunga has confirmed the development to ZNBC Sports.
Malunga says the WBC has also appointed three judges for the fight, who include John Shipanuka of Zambia, Michael Neeqwaye of Ghana and Lilian Olero from Kenya.
And Malunga said Catherine is expected to leave for Nairobi on Tuesday, 28th November, 2017.
Catherine will be accompanied by her trainer Mike Zulu and Malunga.
