Zambia’s Ambassador to Germany Anthony Mukwita is hopeful that Poland shall give direction on how the Government-to-Government proposal in setting up a tractor assembly plant in the country will proceed.
Mr. Mukwita said everything on the part of Zambia has been cleared by President Edgar Lungu and the Minister of Finance who are only await direction from the Polish Government.
He said once the tractor assembly plant is established Zambia will be attractive in the agriculture sector.
Mr. Mukwita was speaking when he featured on ZNBC’s Sunday interview programme last night.
And Mr Mukwita has described the bilateral relations between Zambia and the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, the Slovak Republic and Austria as progressive.
He said Zambia will remain a favoured destination for foreign direct investments due to its stability and ever-growing signs of a budding democracy.
