VITAL WINS FOR POWER, NKANA, ZESCO

 

 

The FAZ/MTN Super league on Sunday afternoon entered week 18 with log leaders Napa Stars failing to shine in Mazabuka as they were held to a barren draw by Nakambala Leopards to move one notch up to 35 points.

It was however, the same story with the second placed side Lusaka Dynamos who were also held to a barren draw in Kabwe by Kabwe Warriors to also move one point up in second position on 30 points.

In Nakonde,  Power Dynamos recorded a sweet victory as they beat Real Nakonde by a goal to nil to move closer to Lusaka Dynamos on third position with 29 points.

Meanwhile,  Zesco United beat visiting Green Eagles by three goals to two to move to 26 points with four games in hand while, Green Eagles remain stuck on position 18 with 21 points after 18 games played so far.

And in Kitwe Nkana was too good for Mufulira Wanderers as they beat the visitors by two goals to one to move to fifth position on the table on 28 points.

In Solwezi, Lumwana Radiants beat Nkwazi by a goal to nil to go to 27 points while Nkwazi remains on 23 points and position ten after 18 matches.

Meanwhile, in Chingola, Nchanga Rangers battled to a two all draw against their sister club Konkola Blades while in Lusaka City of Lusaka came from behind to settle for a one all draw against visiting Forest Rangers.

Still in Lusaka, defending champions ZANACO played to a barren draw with Buildcon while it was the same result between Green Buffaloes and Red Arrows at Edwin Emboela Stadium.
